I have a bunch of really interesting (at least to me lol) quick updates this afternoon. First up we have Barrels of Fun. Yesterday, Barrels' David Van Es stated that the 200th Winchester Mystery House pinball machine (out of the 525 unit build) just rolled off the production line at the factory. That 200th game is being tested right now. 706016401_1403495871808901_1980625016010081473_n.jpg
Earlier today, Pedretti Gaming announced that all of the 399 30th Anniversary Tales of the Arabian Nights Limited Edition pinball machines that it is building are spoken for. Distributors have reserved all of the units. Once the current dealer allocation of Anniversary games is sold from distros, only Legacy Edition games will be available. blog-1781532221194-jge3h6jn1i.png
Now over to the world of home pinball. Wonderland Amusements, maker of the Alice Goes to Wonderland home pinball machine, just showed off early gameplay footage of its second home pin, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The YouTube video that they shared shows a whitewood of the game in action. "Take an early look at TMNT: Battle in the Sewer Pinball in action! This video showcases gameplay from a working prototype before final artwork, plastics, and cosmetic details have been added. While the machine is still in development, the mechanical gameplay and core features are already coming together. In this preview you'll see: • Real mechanical pinball action • Interactive ramps and shots • Training Mode pop bumper • Multiball gameplay • Feature callouts and developer commentary Please note that this is an early prototype and artwork, playfield graphics, plastics, toys, lighting effects, sounds, and other production elements are still being finalized. TMNT: Battle in the Sewer Pinball is designed to deliver authentic pinball action in a home-friendly format while bringing the world of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to life. What feature are you most excited to see next?"

We also got an update on another new pinball company this afternoon. Killdozer Studios sent out its first newsletter about its upcoming Monster League Hockey commercial head-to-head pin. They stated that games are scheduled to begin shipping this fall, with at lease 10 machines available for the public to play at the Chicago Pinball Expo, which takes place from October 14th through the 17th. The Company has made a number of improvements to the early version of the game, including: - Modern optos replacing troublesome trough switches - New rigid art blades with internal side cabinet lighting - Refined geometry tweaks - New code rewritten from scratch unnamed.jpg unnamed 3.jpg
Last up, we have pinball in the mainstream news. Residents of South Carolina rejoice, pinball is now technically legal for youth in the state lol. SC law legalizes pinball for youth, ending decades-old prohibition The law was never enforced, but supporters said it caused anxiety for otherwise rule-abiding business owners JPEG-image-4DA3-9F6E-B0-0-1536x1152.jpeg
