Well it's Monday. I took Friday off to go to my son's final Parent's Weekend at Virginia Tech, so I have some catching up to do on the news. Here we go... Multimorphic announced late last week that its newest P3 module "Portal," which it announced in March, is now officially in production. In the next week or so Portal playfields will go through final quality checks be prepared to ship. Customers who are set to receive their game in the first Batch will hear from the Company within the next one to two weeks to finalize their orders. Portal will be available for the public to play at the Chicago Pinball Expo in October, Salon du Pinball in Quebec City later that month and at the Houston Arcade Expo in mid-November.
Stern pinball recently released a really cool deep dive video into the making of its 2018 pinball machine Deadpool. George Gomez and the development team share lots of interesting stories about the game's creation and how the tight launch schedule impacted a number of aspects of the game.
As usual, on Friday we got a peek at what is on the production line at Stern Pinball. This week, for the first time it was its newest cornerstone game Star Wars: Fall of the Empire, specifically the Limited Edition. Star Wars: Fall of the Empire is now on the line for #FactoryFriday! https://www.facebook.com/sternpinball/videos/2152345185288966
