Spooky Pinball Launches New Undercabinet Lighting; the Dungeon Crawler Carl Pinball Teasers Continue & More
By knapparcade
This afternoon, Spooky Pinball officially launched its new "Dead Ring" undercabinet pinball lighting mod. The new product, which is compatible with Beetlejuice, Evil Dead, Looney Tunes, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Scooby-Doo pins, costs $179 for one or $339 for two. The interactive LED light ring is fully interactive with all of these games' pre-existing light shows. Spooky currently has 450 of the rings in stock and ready to ship. https://www.spookypinball.com/product/dead-ring-light-kit/Your browser doesn't support HTML5 video. Download the video instead.
The teasing of Dungeon Crawler Carl pinball continues. First we had a teaser post from the franchise's cover artist Luciano Fleitas six days ago. That was followed the next day with a teaser from the books' author himself Matt Dinniman. Now today, we have a teaser from the beloved voice behind the Dungeon Crawler Carl audiobooks, Jeff Hays. The fact that Jeff is teasing the game is probably a good clue that he is likely doing the callouts for the pin. Most of them could probably be ripped from the audiobooks without even having to be redone if that's allowed. It certainly sounds as though we are going to see the game soon. I still don't know who is making it. I keep going back and forth between the two leading candidates. The teaser is a short video of Jeff talking about how a pinball machine is coming followed by the words: "DUNGEON CRAWLER CARL PINBALL THE APOCOLYPSE WILL BE PLAYED 2026"
