Stern Pinball Officially Reveals Accessories for The Uncanny X-Men; A New Marvel Beat 'Em Up; Three Musketeers Pinball Prototype

Two weeks ago, I wrote here about how Stern Pinball seemingly accidentally leaked images of its official accessories for its Uncanny X-Men pinball machine on its website. Today, Stern officially revealed the new products. As we expected, the new products are headlined by the "Billboard" topper that changes between three different images, "Present Day," "The Future" and "Danger Room." Other new game-specific accessories include inner art blades and side armor. Interestingly, the most heavily criticized of the leaked images, a rather plain-looking X-Men shooter rod is not highlighted in the release video. Speaking of the X-Men, a new video game that attempts to recapture the magic of the 1992 Konami X-Men 6-player beat 'em up arcade cabinet launched yesterday. I've been waiting for this release for a while now, so naturally I downloaded it last night. To me, it definitely lives up to the legacy of Marvel beat 'em ups of the past. In Marvel Cosmic Invasion, players can choose from a roster of 15 heroes in a battle to save the Universe. The game is available on PC and consoles for a surprisingly reasonable $26.99. I've already seen people modifying arcade cabinets with Cosmic Invasion to play it like an Old School coinop game.

In other HEXA Pinball news, the pinball social media personality Paris Pinball Addict shared a picture of the prototype for the Company's next game The Three Musketeers...under a tarp. We can't tell anything about the game, Boooo, but we do know that HEXA is working on it so that's exciting. Also, seen in the picture are several Space Hunts being built.
