Stern Pinball Waiting on Approval to Stream Walking Dead Remastered; Info on Jersey Jack Pinball's Upcoming Games; Barrels of Fun Factory

On launch day, when Stern Pinball revealed its newest game The Walking Dead Remastered to distributors, it informed them that it was planning to show off its first gameplay on Friday, November 14th. Well, that day came came and went without out us being shown the game in action. Stern published a message on social media this morning addressing the lack of gameplay video for TWD, stating that it is still waiting for licensor approvals: "While we are working through some final licensor approvals before we have an official gameplay premiere of The Walking Dead Remastered, mark your calendars to get your hands on a sneak peek of the game at these upcoming shows! And most importantly....don't get bit." Interestingly, the game will be available for the public to see at three pinball shows this week. Maybe we will get some video of it from one of them. The three shows are the incredible IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida from 11/18 through 11/21 (this one is an industry show that isn't open to the general public), Free Play Florida from 11/21 - 11/23 and the Dutch Pinball Open on those same dates.
Over the weekend, the YouTube channel JOEcade sat down for a fantastic interview with the founder of Jersey Jack Pinball, Jack Guarnieri. The 45 minute video contained great stories about Jack's start in the world of CoinOp...and some new information about JJP's upcoming games! Jersey Jack currently has three games in development. Its next game is being designed by Steve Ritchie (heavily rumored to be based on Sonic the Hedgehog). The game after that is being done by Mark Seiden, his second game after Avatar: Battle for Pandora. And the third game is Eric Meunier’s follow-up to Harry Potter. In addition to these three games, Jersey Jack has the licenses for the next two after that locked up. I have embedded the video below for anyone who wants to check it out:
The Houston Arcade Expo took place last weekend. Barrels of Fun, a local pinball manufacturer associated with that event, typically runs a factory tour in conjunction with it. They shared a bunch of awesome pictures of their factory from the tour on social media. In addition to the tour, Barrels of Fun gave a presentation at the show. Multimorphic presented at the Houston Expo as well. I have embedded those presentations and pictures from the tour below.
