Stern Pinball Walking Dead Remastered Makes Public Debut; Harry Potter is #1; Beetlejuice "Artist Edition"; Super Chexx Factory Video & More

By knapparcade

Stern Pinball's newest game, The Walking Dead Remastered has hit the floor at the annual IAAPA industry trade show in Orlando, Florida. This marks the first public appearance of the game. A few pictures and videos of the game, courtesy of the distributor Little Shop of Games and others have begun to appear online. The game's code appears to still be in the early stages with portions still pending licensor approval, as Stern mentioned earlier this week. A number of people have remarked that they like the machine's art in person way better than in the initial pictures.

Congratulations to the folks at Jersey Jack Pinball for their latest pinball machine Harry Potter hitting #1 in the Pinside Top 100. The list obviously isn't without its flaws, but reaching the top is still a huge accomplishment that means that the game is loved by the public. Several games have been jockeying for the top spot on the list recently. Will Harry Potter be able to grab its spot over heavy hitters like Godzilla, Medieval Madness and Evil Dead? Where will Spooky Pinball's Beetlejuice land on the list when it starts shipping to customers in early 2026? It will be interesting to follow. Screenshot 2025-11-19 115528.png
Lost in all of the deserved praise that the upgraded topper for Spooky Pinball's new Beetlejuice pin has received is the fact that the base game actually comes with its own topper. I hadn't really seen what the included topper looks like yet, so I sought it out and thought that I'd share it here with everyone (see below). Pretty cool for something that is included in the sub-$10K price at no extra cost. Beetlejuice Included Topper.jpg Speaking of Beetlejuice, Spooky is selecting 50 random games to become special "Artist Edition" machines that will be hand-signed and numbered by the game's artist Christopher Franchi. That's pretty cool. Imagine opening up your New In Box Pinball machine and seeing that you were one of the lucky folks to get the special edition? It's like opening up a pack of baseball cards on a huge scale. pinside_forum_8925528_1c62215fc8b4.jpg
I share pictures and video of pinball factories here all the time, but we don't often get a look at the factories for other types of arcade games. I came across a really cool factory video from ICE, maker of the iconic Bubble Hockey game Super Chexx the other day that I had to share here. ICE is running a Black Friday sale featuring $300 off Super Chexx right now on its website.

In other arcade news, Incredible Technologies - maker of Golden Tee and other arcade games, just announced that it is bringing Silver Strike Bowling back as "Silver Strike League Night: A Legend Is Reborn." The new version of the company's popular arcade bowling game is making its debut at IAAPA this week with plans to begin shipping to customers in the Spring of 2026. I really like how IT changed the orientation of the monitor for this latest version. Other new features in the game include: One of the hallmarks of IT is offering players multiple ways to enjoy the game—like these exciting features and options. • Seven vibrant bowling alley settings for players to explore • League Play, the crown jewel for bowling venues, real and (now) virtual • The addition of Strike Derby and 300 Bounty, two uniquely compelling new modes • A revamped Vegas Mode, an SSB staple, where players earn playing cards for each mark • An exciting new achievement system with 100+ unlockable items • Fun additions like Bumpers, Cosmic Bowling and Beer Frame Spotlight And a lot more. The game, complete with the stand, will retail for $4,799. Silver Strike Bowling Press Release unnamed.jpg
Last but not least, we have a fun new charitable endeavor by Bandai Namco. The Company has teamed up with The American Red Cross to give a free exclusive pair of Pac-Man socks to people who donate blood between November 17th and December 7th. 582422898_1396626905473687_800655843082800310_n.jpg
