Stern Pinball's Pokemon Back on Track for Q1 2026 Release; George Gomez Takes Over to Finish Game

By knapparcade

I have two more interesting bits of information that came out of last weekend's Chicago Pinball Expo. I have been hearing that the rumored to be delayed Pokemon Pinball machine (which is strongly rumored, but has not yet been officially confirmed), which was originally started by designer Jack Danger, is most likely back on track for a First Quarter 2026 release from Stern. One possible reason why the project is back on track is that George Gomez officially confirmed at Expo that he has taken over the design of Jack Danger's game to finish it up. I have heard that Stern's internal Code Name for Pokemon is "Cheddar." Also out of Stern Pinball's presentation at Expo, the new Home Leaderboard feature that I mentioned here last week is likely to roll out for Stern All Access members in approximately two weeks. I have a few more pictures from Expo as well that I will include for everyone below...
