I figured that the news cycle would pick up once the Texas Pinball Festival started, but Whew there's so much stuff to talk about that I needed to write a second article today. Every time I saw something new, I kept saying to myself "Sweet, something to write about tomorrow." Until there was too much to put off. Nobody likes stale news. First up, after revealing its third game Yukon Yeti yesterday (Article Here), Turner Pinball just released the first gameplay video of the machine this afternoon. I have embedded the eight minute video below for anyone who wants to check it out. Turner Pinball is proud to present Yukon Yeti. Playfield design by Dennis Nordman and art by Brad Duke. This is a short gameplay preview. Hope you all enjoy! Stampede into the Yukon in search of fortune, battle rapids and avalanches, outwit Soapy Smith, survive the climb to Chilkoot Pass, and raid Yukon Yeti’s hidden stash in a wild pinball adventure inspired by the Klondike Gold Rush.Next up, we have news out of American Pinball. This afternoon AP revealed its new 100th Anniversary Edition of its 2017 game Houdini (Article Here). I have brand new video of the game from the floor of the Texas Pinball Festival below:

People have been clamoring for this next one since Stern announced the game. Stumblor Pinball, recently revealed an aftermarket card dispenser mod for the game. The "Card Blaster" dispenser integrates into the machine's coin door. The system "rewards in-game achievements by dispensing a Pokémon collectable card." "- Motor-driven card dispenser unit with interchangeable card size options - Professional-grade nylon front face (not home printed PLA) - Edge-lit animated “neon” LED strip, which triggers when a card is dispensed - Lamp-sensing daughterboard with FULL Stern Spike lamp sensing capability (even on PCB-based lamps) - 100% configurable via the Stumblor Mod App (colours, patterns, triggers!) - Super easy, 10-minute install - faster than it will take you to find Pokémon cards!" The new product is priced at $331 and if it works as advertised it should more than pay for itself in no time from people pumping dollars into the pin to get cards. People who are interested in the mod can sign up for a list on Stumblor's website. The list supposedly already has 231 interested parties. https://stumblorpinball.com/en-us/products/cardblaster
This morning Barrels of Fun pinball shared a cool short factory walkthrough video up on Facebook:

Last up we are going to delve into the world of digital pinball. I know a lot of you don't like it, but I do so I'm going to talk about it :). This afternoon, Zen Pinball revealed that three new classic Bally / Williams "tables" are coming to Pinball FX on April 30th. The list includes Williams' 1990 game Diner (designed by Mark Ritchie), 1985 game Comet (designed by Barry Oursler) and 1987 game Fire! (designed by Barry Oursler). Those are some good ones! I'm surprised that the list didn't include a table that Zen has already essentially told us is coming the 1993 Bally banger Judge Dredd. That must be coming later this year. Something to look forward to, that game is loaded.
