What Games Are Left in 2025? Will We See Spooky Pinball's Beetlejuice Before We See Stern Pinball's Walking Dead Remastered?

A month or two ago, I wrote here that I thought that Stern Pinball's next game, The Walking Dead Remastered would make an appearance at the Company's factory tour at last weekend's Chicago Pinball Expo. Manufacturers' plans are dynamic, constantly adjusting. A rumor that was right at one point can eventually end up being wrong because plans changed. That's what happened here. I still believe that TWD was supposed to be on Stern's Factory Tour, like they did with Elvira's Blood Red Kiss Edition when it came out. However, the reveal of Star Wars was pushed back AND it hasn't been selling as well as Stern had hoped (supposedly there is still Limited Edition machines available) so Stern decided to push back the Walking Dead launch as well. In fact, I'm hearing now that they may not even reveal the game before Halloween. I personally think that not revealing a zombie game before Halloween is a big mistake from a marketing perspective, but if dealers need time to sell more Star Wars then that may indeed be what is going to happen. I never would have guessed this a few months ago, but I'm hearing that we may actually see Spooky Pinball's next game, Beetlejuice, before we see Stern's new Walking Dead. Word is that we will get a chance to see Beetlejuice in October. I can't wait. Word is that it's a real banger. There's no universal pinball calendar that gives reveal dates for things, but based on what I'm hearing this is the order of the remaining pinball machines that we will see in 2025. It sure has been an exciting year for the hobby.
